Must.Not.Give.In!

So I forgot to mention that on my way to the gym on Halloween I found a little Shitzu puppy in the middle of the road.

My brother and his wife have two adorable Shitzu's so A) I am tender hearted for them and B) I know how darn expensive they are!

So I got Mr. Newton Fig (that was his name, too cute!) and brought him back home so we could find his mama.

Graham's face LIT UP thinking I had brought him home a dog! Greg also. They had SO much fun playing with him. They decided if the dog were theirs we would've called him Oreo.

A few hours went by and the owners came and picked him up.
But now my boys are asking about Newton, "Can we visit Newton? When is Newton coming back to see us? Can I look at Newton on the computer?"

Greg: "Oh, Newton, I miss you."

Sad!

This is exactly what happened when I got my dog, Bubbles.

Facebook Problems

So I went back onto Facebook the other night to get some email addresses of friends that I want to keep in touch with, even though I really don't want to be on Facebook right now.

I had done an edit or two (who WAS Kenny K? I still have no clue!)
But over half of my friends were completely deleted!
Unless they deleted me, but I don't think that 90 something people would delete me in 3 weeks?

So strange and now I have no way to contact you friends!

My Recipe Blog

I've been pretty bad about posting over there...but I'm going to try and do more!

It's kind of sad that I only have two sweet people following me (thanks Kat!) but maybe that's just as well in case recipes don't turn out?

Anyways...if you want to check it out...it's there. Don't laugh. :)

Trick or Treat!

We started the morning with doughnuts, thanks to Grandma and Grandpa. The kids played outside most of the day while Dan and I started the 2009 Great Toy Purge in the garage. We do this every year before Christmas.
It's so nice to get rid of all the broken toys, part and pieces and give away toys that they have grown out of to friends and cousins.

After a yummy dinner with some neighbors we hurried home to get dressed. Here is Pocahontas waiting for her brothers.

Couldn't get the boys to crack a smile - taking a picture of three kids at once is a nightmare sometimes.

Cowboy Greg is ready to yippe-i-a-ky-ooo!

Cowboy Graham says "Giddyap!"
